Mansoor Jamal Malik   Said Hilall Al Busaidy

Mansoor Jamal Malik is the founder partner of the firm.

Mansoor received an LLB in 1982 from the University Of Hull, UK. He was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1983 and thereafter commenced his law practice at reputed chambers in London. Mansoor moved to the Sultanate of Oman in 1986 and has specialised in international transactions involving a diverse range of clients and projects.

Over the past twenty years, Mansoor has successfully advised private, public and governmental organizations on a wide variety of legal issues, including advising on all of the Sultanate’s major commercial and structural projects. Mansoor was actively involved in drafting laws and regulations in various sectors, during the commencement phase of the Sultanate’s privatization process. He is an active member of the community and has the reputation of providing sound legal advice and being able to get things done.

Mansoor is a much sought after speaker and participant at seminars presented by the financial services industry, corporations and governmental organizations. Dr. Said Hilall Al Busaidy is the partner primarily responsible for litigation and arbitration matters.

Dr. Said graduated in 1979 from Al Azhar University in Egypt with an LLB. He received his Masters in Law from the University Of Cairo, Egypt in 1981 and a Doctorate in General Law from the University Of Sorbonne, France in 1991.

Dr. Said started his career, in 1979, as a legal adviser with the Sultanate’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1984, he was appointed as Judge and Deputy President of the Magistrates Court of the Sultanate of Oman. In1985, he was elevated to the position of President of the Magistrates Court. In 2001, Dr Said was appointed as Judge and Deputy President of the High Court of Oman. Dr Said retired in 2002, after a long and distinguished career in the Sultanate’s judicial service.

Dr Said has represented the Government of Oman at various international forums, and has participated in the negotiation of bilateral and multilateral treaties for, and on behalf of, the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. He is currently the vice-chairman of the State Council (Majlis Al-Dawlah).
