AMJ WINS “BEST LAW FIRM IN OMAN” IFLR AWARDS 2009
- Al Busaidy Mansoor Jamal & Co (AMJ) is very proud to announce that the firm has once again received the National Law Firm of the Year Award at the International Financial Law Review's (IFLR's) Middle East 2009.
The firm won the same award in 2006 and 2007. The annual IFLR Awards ceremony and dinner took place on 28 October at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Our Senior Associates Ardeshir Patel, Marcus Pery, Lorenzo Bruttomesso, Simon Ward and Rory Gilchrist were there to represent AMJ and receive the Award.
The IFLR Middle East Awards recognise the best performing law firm in each of the Middle Eastern jurisdictions that IFLR covers, with a particular focus on cross-border capital markets, finance and mergers and acquisitions work. Firms are rewarded for innovation, quality and commitment to the development of legal services in the Middle East. When deciding the winners, IFLR takes into consideration client recommendations and the novelty and legal complexity of deals.
Dr Said Al Busaidy said: "It is a great honour for AMJ to be recognised as the leading firm in the Sultanate of Oman and that the award comes as a welcome encouragement to and recognition of all the members of AMJ.
Mansoor Jamal said: "The firm acted as trusted adviser on some of the most complex and significant financial transactions of the year in Oman. Our win reflects our continued commitment to legal excellence and the highest level of client service. AMJ focus consists in deepening existing relationships with clients, partnering, being creative and innovative and delivering exceptional expertise and results. We are very pleased that our hard work and continued dedication is recognised by IFLR."
