As a leading law firm in Oman, we are committed to investing in the community in which we live and work. As legal professionals and individuals, we are driven to improve access to justice for under-served groups in the community. We help non-profit organisations, as well as the individuals they refer to us, to access their legal rights. Our pro bono work also serves as personal and professional development for our lawyers. It gives them insight into the world outside business law along with the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
In addition, we support a number of community-based schemes and initiatives with a focus on literacy and youth education. Our aim is to contribute to the advancement of children and young adults in a meaningful and sustainable way.
Our vacation internships programme serves a similar purpose. We offer mid-year and end of year internships to law undergraduates studying in Oman or at universities overseas, and work placements for secondary school students in Oman who are contemplating a career in law. We devote considerable time to ensuring that interns gain practical experience and insight into how a law firm operates. Our lawyers also support local schools and universities at careers fairs and events by providing advice and guidance on the path to becoming a lawyer.
